Why ChatMitra
Most Indian competitors start at ₹1,500–₹5,000 a month and charge extra for chatbots, API access and integrations.
Listed in Meta's partner directory — not a reseller working off a shared number.
One platform fee per conversation. Meta's rates pass through at cost, and Enterprise waives the fee entirely.
No separate add-on bill. The builder, AI replies and lead flows are all part of ₹999.
Add your whole team on Pro without a per-seat charge.
Rejected by Meta? We rewrite and resubmit it for you, included in the plan.
Most businesses are sending on the third working day from documents to first message.
The account sits under your own Meta portfolio. Leave whenever you like and keep everything.
Monthly, quarterly or yearly billing. No minimum term and no exit charge.
Ranked for Nagpur
Same platform in every city. What changes is which features earn their keep, so this list is ordered by what actually moves the needle for Nagpur.
Send despatch, in-transit and arrival updates keyed to a consignment number, with short-supply details in the same thread.
Why Nagpur: A retailer four hundred kilometres away plans staff and shelf space around a vehicle arriving, so the value of the message is the ETA rather than the fact of despatch. An arrival that slips by a day and is not messaged costs the retailer a wasted morning.
Worked example A depot sends one notice at despatch and one on the morning of arrival. Retailers stop phoning the depot to ask where the vehicle is, which is most of what the counter phone was doing.
Confirm an appointment with department, timing and a reschedule option, sent far enough ahead to be actionable.
Why Nagpur: A patient travelling in from a district town is committing to a journey, not to a slot. A cancellation sent the same morning reaches somebody already on a bus, so the notice window here has to be measured in days rather than hours.
Worked example A reschedule sent two days ahead lets a patient move their travel. The same message sent at eight the previous evening reaches a family that has already paid for a night's stay.
Route a contact to the Marathi, Hindi or English variant from a contact attribute, each approved separately.
Why Nagpur: A contact list drawn from the Vidarbha catchment usually carries more Hindi readers than Marathi ones, which is the reverse of the rest of the state. Defaulting to Marathi because the state is Maharashtra gets a majority of this city's messages wrong.
Worked example A hospital routes on the district recorded at registration — Marathi for Nagpur and Wardha, Hindi for patients from across the Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh borders.
Establish which entity owns the number and which name it can carry before the application goes in.
Why Nagpur: So many businesses here trade as depots or stockists for a principal registered elsewhere that the brand on the customer's screen and the entity on the certificate frequently belong to different companies. That is a question to answer before applying rather than after a rejection.
Worked example A stockist applies under its own registered name and describes its role, rather than applying as the principal's brand on a certificate that does not carry it.
Schedule sends against a roster rather than a working day, so a notice lands at a handover or before a pickup.
Why Nagpur: MIHAN sits well outside the city and its staff travel out to it on arranged transport against rotating shifts, so a transport or access change is only useful if it arrives before someone leaves home for it.
Fire messages from the system that holds the event — despatch, appointment, report — and write delivery status back.
Why Nagpur: A consignment leaving a warehouse and a report being signed off both happen inside software. Neither begins with a person deciding to send a message, so the trigger belongs where the event already is.
One number, unlimited agents, assignment, internal notes and history that survives a handover.
Why Nagpur: A depot counter and a hospital front desk both answer a single published number across shifts, and the reply that matters often continues a conversation somebody else started the previous day.
No-code flows plus AI answers drawn from your own stock list, department directory or appointment policy.
Why Nagpur: Retailers message depots after their own shops close, and patients message hospitals late in the evening once they have decided to travel — both of which are hours when nobody local is at a desk.

Useful everywhere. Identical in every city. Most accounts here are B2B and never use it.
Run a list from one spreadsheet — edit a row and WhatsApp reflects it.
Useful everywhere. Universal, and on every plan.
Delivery, read and reply rates updating live mid-send, split by campaign and template.
Useful everywhere. Works the same anywhere. Nothing local about it.
Ranking comes from the city data file — swap the city and this order changes. Features marked “useful everywhere” are flagged on purpose: claiming every one is Nagpur-specific is what makes a page read as templated.

Straight answer
No. The WhatsApp Business API is delivered from Meta's cloud, so your provider's office location has no effect on delivery speed, uptime or message cost.
Every provider ranking for this search resells the same Meta Cloud API. What genuinely differs by location is narrower — and worth knowing before you sign:
Those four things are exactly what the next section covers for Nagpur.
The part that changes with the city
The English version being approved does not approve the मराठी one — it is a separate submission and a separate review.
Nagpur is more evenly bilingual than the rest of Maharashtra, and the reason is geography rather than preference. Vidarbha sits against Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Telangana, and a distribution or hospital contact list drawn from this catchment routinely contains more Hindi readers than Marathi ones — the opposite weighting to an account run out of Pune or Mumbai. Treating Hindi as the secondary variant here is usually the wrong way round. English carries the MIHAN offices and the corporate side of healthcare, and almost nothing else.
Languages we support for Nagpur: Marathi, Hindi, English.
Utility dominates because the two largest kinds of account here are both notifying rather than selling. A consignment ETA goes to a retailer who has already ordered; an appointment confirmation goes to a patient who has already booked. Marketing volume is concentrated in a narrow band of consumer retail and education, and authentication is steadier than the city's size suggests because the services and healthcare accounts both verify a lot of logins and registrations. The practical effect is a low average cost per conversation without anyone managing for it.
Code 27 is the same one Mumbai and Pune use, so the paperwork is familiar — the difficulty here is whose name goes on the account. A large share of businesses in this city operate as depots, stockists or clearing agents for principals registered in other states, and the brand the customer believes they are messaging often belongs to that principal rather than to the entity holding the number. Meta reviews the display name against the verified business, so settle the relationship before you apply: either the number belongs to the local entity under its own name, or the principal applies and gives the depot access.
Load here follows trade and weather rather than a festival. Distribution traffic climbs through the festive stocking window from late September, then again around the citrus season that runs through the cooler months, when produce movement and the freight that carries it both rise. The summer months are the opposite — long stretches of extreme heat slow daytime movement, push despatch to early mornings, and shift the useful send window several hours earlier than the rest of the year.
Business districts we see most Nagpur volume from: MIHAN, Butibori MIDC, Hingna MIDC, Kamptee Road, Sitabuldi, Wardhaman Nagar, Civil Lines, Dharampeth.
Real numbers
| Business | What they send | Conversations | Meta | ₹0.20 fee | Pro plan | Monthly total |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Distribution depot, Kamptee Road | Consignment despatch, ETA and short-supply notices | 34,000 | ₹5,780 | ₹6,800 | ₹917 | ₹13,497 |
| Multi-speciality hospital, Dharampeth | Appointment confirmations, reschedules and report intimations | 28,000 | ₹4,130 | ₹5,600 | ₹917 | ₹10,647 |
| Services firm, MIHAN | Client milestones and staff shift and transport coordination | 18,000 | ₹4,005 | ₹3,600 | ₹917 | ₹8,522 |
Which category you send matters more than how much you send — marketing costs almost eight times what authentication does. At these volumes all three would save money on Enterprise, where the ₹0.20 fee disappears.

Sector fit
This city holds stock for a region far larger than itself, which turns its messaging into a scheduling problem rather than a selling one. A depot on Kamptee Road serves retailers spread across four states, and the useful message is where a consignment is, when the vehicle reaches, and what is short on the invoice. Nobody in that thread is being persuaded of anything.
Consignment despatch and ETA notices, short-supply intimation and stock availability confirmations to retailers across central India
WhatsApp for Distribution, stockists & depots →Healthcare here serves a referral catchment rather than a neighbourhood. A substantial share of patients at the larger hospitals travel in from district towns across Vidarbha and the neighbouring states, which means an appointment message is also a travel instruction — the person reading it has to decide whether to start a four-hour journey tomorrow morning or not.
Appointment confirmations with department and timing, reschedule notices ahead of travel, and report-ready intimations
WhatsApp for Hospitals & diagnostics →The services base around MIHAN is largely delivery work done for clients who are somewhere else, so its messaging is internal before it is external. Shift rosters, access and transport coordination for staff commuting out to the campus, and milestone updates to clients in other time zones — three quite different audiences run off one account.
Client delivery milestones, staff shift and transport coordination, and access or facility notices for campus teams

Start Free TrialNot on a certificate that does not carry it. Meta reviews the display name against the business it has verified, and a depot holding its own registration is a different entity from the principal whose brand it stocks. There are two clean routes: apply under your own registered name and describe your role, or have the principal hold the account and give your team access to it. Deciding this before you apply avoids a rejection that is difficult to interpret afterwards.
Check the contact list before assuming either. Vidarbha borders Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Telangana, and lists built from this catchment often carry more Hindi readers than Marathi ones — the reverse of a Pune or Mumbai account. Most businesses here end up approving both and routing on something they already record, such as the district a customer or patient came from. Each language is a separate Meta approval, so decide the pair early rather than adding one mid-season.
Further ahead than a metro hospital would. A meaningful share of patients travel in from district towns, so a confirmation or a reschedule is really a travel instruction and needs to arrive while the journey can still be changed — two days rather than two hours. The same applies to report-ready notices, because a patient who has gone home may return for collection. Timing is the variable that makes the difference here, not wording.
There are two bills. Meta charges per conversation — roughly ₹0.86 marketing, ₹0.11 utility and ₹0.11 authentication, with replies inside an open 24-hour window free. ChatMitra adds a flat ₹0.20 platform fee per conversation on Starter and Pro. Starter has free subscription, Pro is ₹999 a month, and Enterprise is ₹2,999 a month (₹2,000 billed yearly) which removes the ₹0.20 fee entirely.
No. The API is delivered from Meta's cloud, so your provider's office location has no effect on delivery speed, uptime or message cost. What genuinely differs locally is which languages your templates need approval in, which GST state your entity is registered in, whether support hours cover your working day, and whether the provider understands your sector's message mix.
A conversation is a 24-hour window that opens the moment either you or your customer sends the first message. Inside that window you can exchange as many messages as you like and pay only one ₹0.20 platform fee plus Meta's category charge. Service conversations — the ones your customer starts, answered inside the open window — are free on both bills.
A GST certificate or Certificate of Incorporation, company PAN, a live website, an email on your company domain, and a dedicated phone number that isn't already running WhatsApp. Udyam registration works in place of GST for MSMEs. Maharashtra businesses use GST state code 27.
No. The AI Chatbot is included in the Pro plan at ₹999 a month — the builder, AI responses, lead qualification flows and round-the-clock automated support, with no separate add-on fee. Most Indian competitors bill the chatbot on top of the subscription.
Yes, if you first delete the WhatsApp Business app account on it. That deletes the chat history on that number, so export anything you need first. Many businesses start on a new number and migrate later once the account is stable.
No. DLT is a TRAI requirement for SMS in India and does not apply to WhatsApp. WhatsApp uses Meta's own template approval process instead, which reviews message content and category rather than registering your sender identity.
No setup fee. No lock-in. Your own WhatsApp Business Account from day one, and a 15-day Pro trial without a card.

Before the templates, before the pricing, there is a question this city raises more often than any other we work in: which company is the customer actually messaging?
A great deal of business here is done on behalf of somebody else. Depots, stockists and clearing agents hold and move goods for principals registered in other states, and from a retailer’s point of view they are the brand. On paper they are not. The certificate carries the local entity; the brand belongs to a company several states away.
That matters because the display name is reviewed against the verified business rather than against the sign over the door. There are two honest ways through it. The local entity applies under its own name and says plainly what it does — stockist, authorised distributor, service partner — which customers understand perfectly well. Or the principal holds the account and gives the local team access to it, which keeps one brand voice across every region at the cost of a slower approval chain.
What does not work is applying as the principal on a certificate that does not name them, which returns a rejection with no useful detail and burns a week.
Strip away the sector labels and most outbound volume from this city is the same shape: something is moving, and somebody several hundred kilometres away needs to plan around when it lands.
For a depot that is literal. A retailer in a district town schedules staff, shelf space and sometimes their own onward delivery around a vehicle. Despatch confirmation is mildly useful; an accurate arrival window is what the message is for. Short supply belongs in the same thread rather than in a phone call the next morning, because the retailer’s reorder decision depends on it.
For a hospital it is the same problem wearing different clothes. A patient coming in from a district town is committing to a journey before they commit to a slot, and a same-morning cancellation reaches someone already travelling. Push the notice window out to days and the message starts doing its job.
Both cases invert the usual advice about send timing. The question is not when someone is most likely to read a message. It is how much time they need to act on it.
The default assumption about a Maharashtra account is Marathi first, Hindi second. Here that is often backwards, and it is worth checking rather than assuming.
Vidarbha sits against three state borders, and a contact list built from this catchment — patients, retailers, dealers — carries a large Hindi-reading share that no account in Pune or Mumbai would see. Neither language is a safe single choice, which means most serious accounts here approve both and route on something already on the record, usually the district a contact came from.
There is a seasonal detail worth planning around too. The summer here is long and severe enough to move commercial activity into the early morning, and messaging follows the goods. A send window that works in November is an hour or two too late in May. It is a small adjustment, and it is the sort of thing that only shows up in reply rates if you go looking for it.
